The Monsal Head Hotel is possibly one of the best situated in the Peak district with superb views and walks down Monsal Head. The pub is in two disconnected parts both serving food. There are wooden picnic sets outside. Cheerful and friendly staff serve a good range of modestly priced food. There is accomodation in the older part of the pub althogh the building is somewhay old fashioned and rambling but the position of the hotel make it one well worth staying at. Although the pub car park can get full there is ample pay and display parking nearby.
